Un gruppo indie rock alternativo è sicuramento quello degli  Abel Raise the Cain  formatisi nel  Nord-Est della Gran Bretagna, grazie all’amore  reciproco per i  paesaggi sonori indie d’atmosfera  e epici influenzati da artisti del calibro di Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros e Editors.

La pubblicazione del loro doppio  singolo ‘Too Late / The Promise‘ ha portato la band al  successo di critica che tant’è che i singoli entrano entrambi nell’airplay di tutte le  stazioni radiofoniche del Regno Unito e attirano l’attenzione della BBC. ‘Too Late’ è stato anche playlist della Radio Nazionale Brasiliana e rappresentati da Channel 4 in un programma televisivo in prima serata.

Costantemente presenti sulla scena live, gli  Abel Raise the Cain  hanno suonato dal vivo in tutto  il Regno Unito,  guadagnandosi una ottima  una reputazione per le avvincenti ed energiche esibizioni dal vivo, supportati da gruppi come Happy Mondays, Primal Scream, di Dexy Midnight Runners, Spiritulized , Kodaline and Skaters.

Il video musicale del nuovo singolo ‘Black Swans‘, (già pubblicato nel 2014) ed estratto dal prossimo EP di debutto ‘For Strangers Only’,  è andato dritto al numero uno nella classifica di musica beat 100 che dispone di gruppi provenienti da tutto il mondo. La canzone ha anche portato gli  Abel Raise the Cain a vincere il the Beat 100 Ultimate Musician award,  riconoscendo loro il ruolo di  band più importante della rete.

An alternative indie rock band formed in the Northeast, Abel Raise the Cain were brought together by a mutual love of atmospheric and epic indie soundscapes influenced by the likes of Arcade Fire, Sigur Ros and Editors.

The release of double A side single ‘Too Late/The Promise’ brought the band widespread critical acclaim leading to both singles receiving repeated airplay on radio stations across the UK, including regular plays on BBC Introducing. ‘Too Late’ was also playlisted on Brazilian National Radio & featured by Channel 4 on a primetime television program.

Regulars on the live circuit, Abel Raise the Cain have played shows across the UK, where they’ve earned a reputation for enthralling and energetic live performances, which have led to coveted support slots for Happy Mondays, Primal Scream, Dexy’s Midnight Runners, Spiritulized, Kodaline and Skaters.

The music video for new single ‘Black Swans’, taken from the forthcoming debut EP ‘For Strangers Only’, went straight to number one in the Beat 100 music chart which features bands from all over the world. The song also led to Abel Raise the Cain to win the Beat 100 Ultimate Musician award, recognising them as one of the most outstanding bands on the network.
