Procedono a gonfie vele le riprese del film prodotto dalla Ambi Pictures: In Dubious Battle, diretto e interpretato da James Franco. Al cast stellare già annunciato – James Franco, Nat Wolff, Selena Gomez, Vincent D’Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston, John Savage e Sam Shepherd – si aggiungono  Josh Hutcherson (“The Hunger Games”), Zach Braff (“Garden State”), Analeigh Tipton (“Crazy, Stupid, Love”), Ashley Greene (“Twilight” saga)  e Ahna O’Reilly (“The Help”) .
